Wietse van Lingen is responsible for the European fleet activities both from an operational and commercial point of view. He has held various operational roles (previously COO Europe) within Seafox since 2010. Prior to joining Seafox he spent 13 years working offshore as Barge Engineer on various drilling rigs, mainly in the Middle East. His pragmatic approach and problem solving mentality in combination with his far reaching jack up industry specific knowledge has put Seafox in a leading position in the North Sea and enabled long term relationships with its European client base. Wietse is trained as a Maritime Officer (Mechanical Engineering and Nautical Navigation) and also holds a Master Certificate for Commercial Ocean Going and Coastal Sailing Vessels.
