Joel Hoehn

Joel Hoehn is an Engineering Manager at Seagate Technology, where they previously served as a Senior Engineer, focusing on the integration of new thin film deposition processes for HDD recording heads. They completed a Doctoral Internship at Sandia National Laboratories, where they studied the properties of thin films using nanomechanical probes. Joel holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Ph.D. in the same field, both from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and also pursued pre-engineering studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
