Mohamad El-Batal

Mohamad El-Batal is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in hardware and systems architecture within the storage industry. Currently serving as Chief Technologist in the CTO Office for Seagate Technology since September 2014, Mohamad has previously held significant roles including CTO for Cloud Systems and Senior Director of Architecture for Nytro SSD Engineering. Prior positions include Senior Director of Architecture at LSI and NetApp, as well as leadership roles at IBM, Mylex, EMC, and Tandem. Mohamad began a career in engineering at Lexicor Medical. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
