Yishay Haspel

Yishay Haspel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

In 2000, they started their career at IPHighway as a QA engineer. Yishay then joined maav in 2003, where they served as a developer and team leader, responsible for the development and testing of avionic real-time embedded software.

From 2005 to 2008, Yishay worked at the Israeli Air Force as the head of the simulators team. Yishay led a team of nine people in complex projects involving multi-part real-time embedded components written mostly in C/C++.

In 2009, Yishay joined Tiltan as a software engineer and later became a consultant for the SkyKnight application. During their tenure, they created a product that was eventually sold to several armies worldwide.

In 2010, Yishay joined Novidea Software and held various roles, including project manager and senior full-stack developer, product manager, and senior architect, and eventually became the VP of products and senior architect.

In 2015, Yishay co-founded BuilderEdge, where they served as the VP of Development and co-founder. Yishay played a key role in building the R&D from scratch, hiring and training employees, and rapidly developing products across a range of technologies.

In 2020, Yishay joined Ark Design as the CTO, where they oversaw the technology operations until May 2021.

Currently, Yishay is working at SeaLights as the Backend Team Lead, a position they took on in July 2021.

Yishay Haspel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Yishay attended the university from 1999 to 2002.
