Romeo Martens

Romeo Martens has been working in the technology industry since 2018. Romeo began working at Proximus as a Junior Business/Functional Analyst IPTV in 2018. In 2020, they moved to Proximus Media House (PmH) as a Solution & System Architect. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded Sealution, where they currently serve as the CTO. Sealution is a startup that focuses on improving maritime safety, health, and productivity by deploying IoT solutions.

Romeo Martens has an educational background in Electrical Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Ghent University, followed by a Master's degree in 2016. During their Master's degree, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange Program at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including ArchiMate 3 Foundation and Practitioner from The Open Group in 2022, as well as ENCE607.1x: Applied Scrum for Agile Project Management from the University System of Maryland in 2020.
