Ruben Verplancke has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they founded Studia. In 2018, they took an Investment Banking training at City Investment Training. In 2019, they were an Intern at BNP Paribas in Private Equity. In 2020, they were a Summer Analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners and a Co-Founder & CFO at Sealution, a B2B hardware enabled software startup. Ruben successfully raised a pre-seed round through convertible notes from Business Angels and Techstars and is currently raising a significant seed round. In 2021, they became an Investment Banking M&A Off-Cycle Analyst at Nomura. Additionally, since 2017, they have been an Event Organizer at Walhalla Festival.
Ruben Verplancke has a diverse educational background, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Ghent University from 2014 to 2017. Ruben then completed a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2017 to 2018. Afterwards, they earned a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Ghent University from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they completed an Advanced Master in Finance: Corporate Investment Banking from ESCP Business School from 2019 to 2020.
