Tiasia O'Brien

Tiasia O'Brien M.A. is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in media production, research, urban planning, and social entrepreneurship. As the Owner and Executive Producer of klatch X since January 2024, Tiasia focuses on sharing untold stories from the diaspora. Tiasia has served as President and CEO of co:census since May 2018, leading a research and design firm that utilizes technology to enhance public feedback in urban planning. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at John Jay College, Fellow at Urban Design Forum, and Director of Development and Communications at Groundswell. Tiasia has also contributed to MoCADA as a Strategy and Business Development Consultant and Associate Development Director, managing substantial fundraising portfolios. Tiasia's diverse background is supported by a Master of Arts in Sociology from The New School and additional education in Communications and Business Intelligence Analytics.
