Dragos Popa

Dragos Popa is a seasoned Chief Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in marine engineering. Currently serving at Seapeak since January 2022, Dragos previously held the same title at Teekay Corporation from September 2012 to January 2022, and was promoted from 1st Engineer at the same company. Prior to Teekay, Dragos worked as a 1st Engineer at A.P. Moller Maersk between October 2006 and August 2012, focusing on engine room maintenance and job planning. Dragos Popa holds a degree in Electric / Mechanical Engineering from „Mircea cel Batrân” Naval Academy, completed in 1997.
