Kawn Mai

Kawn Mai has over 17 years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on engineering roles. From December 2021 to December 2023, Kawn served as Vessel Manager at Seapeak, and previously held positions including Chief Engineer and First Engineer. Prior experience at Teekay Corporation from October 2012 to November 2021 included roles as First Engineer and Cargo Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the loading and discharging of LNG, operating Low and High Duty Compressors, as well as Gas Combustion Units and Wartsila 12V50DF Engines. Earlier experience at Maersk Line, from December 2006 to July 2011, began as a Cadet and progressed to Third Engineer. Kawn holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and a Marine Engineering Cadet degree from Myanmar Merchantile Marine College.
