Helena van der Leij

Helena van der Leij has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. In 2009, they started as a Researcher at CCC, where they worked until 2013. Helena then joined HZPC as a Research Assistant, specializing in the modulation of potato starch and the development of dietary fiber with prebiotic effects. In 2012, they were promoted to Molecular Biologist at HZPC, where they managed their own projects and conducted research using various molecular biology techniques. In 2019, they became the Team Leader Operations at HZPC, responsible for overseeing operations within their team. Helena held this role until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Project Manager Operations at SeaQurrent, where they are in charge of managing projects.

Helena van der Leij earned a Master of Science degree in Biology from Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Science, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In 2007, they also attended the From Mountain To Fjord Course at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
