Maarten Berkhout has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy sector. Maarten'smost recent role is a board member and treasurer at the EWA: Dutch Energy from Water Association since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SeaQurrent® as the director of projects and co-founder since January 2016, where they focused on the deployment of TidalKite-based SeaCurrent power plants.
Maarten also owned Jump Energy, a consultancy in the energy sector with a focus on innovation support, from December 2014 to December 2020. Maarten worked as the manager of strategic accounts at Triogen, a company that produces and sells ORC machines for electricity generation from residual heat, from January 2015 to August 2017.
