Gary MacPhie

Gary MacPhie is an experienced educator with a diverse career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Search Associates since July 2017, Gary has held various leadership roles including Elementary Principal at the American International School of Guangzhou and at Qatar Academy, as well as Head of Junior School at Elmwood School. Previous positions also include Head of Primary at the International School of Moshi and Aquatics Director & Grade 5 Team Leader at Taipei American School. Gary's foundational experience includes teaching at major institutions such as Singapore American School and the Toronto District School Board. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from San Diego State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from McMaster University.
