Roanne Edwards

Roanne Edwards serves as the Associate Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at Search for Common Ground since April 2024. Previously, Roanne held the role of Director of Global Partnerships at the Foundation for African Medicine and Education (FAME) from May 2017 to July 2021, where efforts focused on enhancing healthcare for rural Tanzanians through strategic fundraising initiatives. Additional experience includes positions such as Senior Advisor at Precious Project, Inc., Director of Philanthropy at RefugePoint, and Major Gifts Officer at Oxfam America. Roanne has a strong background in securing major gifts, developing fundraising strategies, and collaborating with organizational leadership to drive financial growth. Educational credentials encompass a Diplôme d'études approfondies (DEA) in Russian and East European Studies from Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, a BA in Russian Language and Literature from Indiana University Bloomington, and classical piano performance training from Interlochen Center for the Arts.
