Angus Hamilton has over 25 years of work experience in the technology and software development field. Angus began their career as a Development Manager at SoftSols Group in 1992, where they led a team in migrating a Maintenance Management application from Unix/DOS to Windows. Angus also collaborated with overseas partners to translate and resell the application, as well as worked with customers for customizations.
In 2001, Angus joined LexisNexis UK as a Development Manager, where they focused on delivering .NET workflow tools for the Legal sector. Angus was responsible for managing the full software lifecycle, from design and specification to development, testing, and documentation. Angus remained with the company for over a decade, until December 2012.
Since March 2013, Angus has been serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Search Laboratory. In this role, they oversee all aspects of technology to support the team in delivering market-leading global digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including SEO, PPC, Programmatic, and Social. Angus and their team utilize technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Tableau to develop innovative projects and provide clients with the insights and tools necessary for successful digital marketing campaigns.
Angus Hamilton completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law at Durham University from 1989 to 1992.
