Riju Agrawal

Riju Agrawal is the current Principal at Searchlight Capital Partners in New York. Prior to this, they were an Investment Analyst at Viking Global Investors from June 2019 to August 2019, where they focused on Long/Short Equities in the Telecom and Healthcare industries. Riju Agrawal has also worked as an Investment Analyst at Marshall Wace from June 2018 to August 2018, where they focused on Long/Short Equities in the Energy and Industrials industries.

From July 2015 to July 2017, Riju Agrawal worked as a Private Equity Associate at The Blackstone Group, specifically with Blackstone Energy Partners. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley from June 2013 to July 2015, where they were part of the Global Energy Group. In this role, Riju Agrawal performed valuations of exploration & production, midstream, downstream and services energy companies using net asset valuation (discounted cash flow), sum-of-the-parts, comparable companies analysis, and precedent transactions analysis. Riju Agrawal also worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst with Morgan Stanley's Global Energy Group from June 2012 to August 2012.

Before their career in finance, Riju Agrawal worked as a White House Intern in the Domestic Policy Council under the Obama administration from May 2011 to August 2011, specifically focusing on Energy and Climate Change.

Riju Agrawal has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Policy with a concentration in Public Policy Analysis from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University. Riju also has a certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 79.
