Nayla McCarty, MPA

Nayla McCarty has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nayla is currently working at SearchStax as a Product Operations Manager since February 2023. Previously, they worked at SearchStax as an OEM Customer Success Manager from March 2022 to February 2023.

Prior to SearchStax, Nayla worked at Bitfocus as a Customer Success Project Manager from June 2019 to March 2022. Nayla also served as an Independent Consultant at Gladiolus Consulting from September 2016 to December 2019.

Nayla has experience in Salesforce administration, having worked as a Salesforce Administrator at Hilton Grand Vacations from August 2018 to June 2019. Nayla also worked at the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida as a Salesforce Administrator (Project) from September 2017 to August 2018.

Earlier in their career, Nayla worked at Bowman Systems as a Training and Implementation Specialist from June 2013 to August 2016. Nayla also served as the Grants Support Manager, Salesforce Administrator, and HMIS Project and Training Supervisor at the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida from September 2016 to August 2018.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Nayla served in the United States Air Force as an Aviation Resource Manager from January 2000 to January 2004. Nayla was responsible for aviation administrative functions, researching and monitoring aviation policies, and managing the Aviation Resource Management Program.

In their earlier career, Nayla worked at the Contra Costa Crisis Center as a 211 Resource Manager from February 2008 to June 2013. Nayla'sresponsibilities included managing database development, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with community leaders on social services projects. Nayla was also involved in training development and evaluation.

Nayla McCarty, MPA has pursued their education in a progressive manner. Nayla obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Management with a focus on Hospitality Management from DeVry University in the years 2005 to 2007. Following this, Nayla enrolled at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and completed their Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree between 2008 and 2010, specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. In 2010 to 2011, they furthered their studies at the same institution, acquiring a Graduate Certificate Degree in Information Systems Management.

In addition to their formal education, Nayla McCarty has also obtained two supplemental certifications. In July 2018, they received the certification "101 - Critical Infrastructure Protection" from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. A few months later, in October 2018, they became a Certified Salesforce Administrator through Salesforce.
