Mark Wood

Mark Wood has over 35 years of experience in engineering and management roles, currently serving as the Environmental and Process Safety Management Manager at Searles Valley Minerals since October 2011. Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of capital projects, leading maintenance activities, and implementing the Process Safety Management program. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions within Searles Valley Minerals, including Construction Project Engineer, General Supervisor Maintenance, and PSM Reliability Engineer. Mark's career began in the Royal Air Force, where Mark worked as a Ground Engineer, focusing on Reliability Centered Maintenance and maintenance programs for critical equipment. Mark holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Production from No. 4 School of Technical Training, completed between 1986 and 1990.
