Katherine Watson

Katherine Watson has extensive experience in the field of education and support for individuals with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs. Currently serving as Deputy Principal at Seashell since January 2013, Katherine holds multiple roles including Advanced Practitioner for Autism and Special Educational Needs Teacher at Seashell Trust, which provides education and care for children and young adults aged 2 to 25. Prior to this, Katherine worked at New Horizons Stockport as a Job Coach and Transition Coordinator from July 2011 to January 2013, and held the position of Acting Deputy Manager at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council from April 2009 to June 2011. Katherine began her professional journey as a Residential Care Support Worker. Katherine obtained a BA in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nursing from Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2009, and attended Brooke Weston City Technology College from 1999 to 2006.
