Lorna Thompson

Lorna Thompson is an experienced events and community manager currently working at Seashell since January 2022. Prior to this role, Lorna held various positions at Once Upon a Smile, where responsibilities included corporate event management and fundraising from January 2017 to December 2021. Lorna's background also includes serving as the fundraising and events manager for Cash for Kids at Key 103 from February 2013 to October 2016, along with roles as a special events sales executive and event coordinator at Manchester United between November 2010 and February 2013. Earlier in Lorna's career, Lorna worked as a conference and events sales executive at Sale Sharks Rugby Club from July 2007 to November 2010. Lorna obtained a BA Hons in Public Relations and Communication from Southampton Solent University, completing the degree from 2003 to 2006.
