Wakisha E. Harvey is the Director of Clinical Operations at Access MHA Atlanta at Seaside Healthcare. Wakisha has over 15 years of experience in the fields of mental health and behavioral health.

Wakisha began their career as an employee trainer with Cameron and Associates, Inc. in June 2003. In this role, they provided training to new employees on company policies and procedures. Wakisha also served as an EAP Coordinator and Trainer, providing support to employees who were experiencing personal or work-related difficulties.

In July 2004, Wakisha began working at Riverwoods Behavioral Health as a Crisis Therapist. In this role, they provided crisis intervention and short-term counseling to patients experiencing a mental health crisis. Wakisha also served as the Utilization Review Manager, overseeing the utilization review process for all patients.

In February 2007, Wakisha left Riverwoods Behavioral Health to take on the role of Intake and Assessment Coordinator/ Director of Utilization Review at Southern Regional Medical Center/Acadia Health Systems. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating patient intakes and assessment activities, as well as overseeing the utilization review process for all patients. Wakisha remained in this role until January 2010 when they left to join Clayton Center Behavioral Health Services.

Wakisha joined UHS in November 2013 as the Director of Utilization Management. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the utilization review process for all patients. Wakisha remained in this role until November 2015 when they left to join Access MHA Atlanta at Seaside Healthcare as the Director of Clinical Operations.

Wakisha E. Harvey has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University Atlanta, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Florida. Wakisha also has a Master of Clinical Psychology from Argosy University.

Their manager is Franklin Roemer II, CEO. They are on a team with Patrick J. Doyal - VP, Development, Denise Haire - Executive Director, Community Re-Entry Program, and James Madden - Chief Compliance Officer, Corporate Human Resources.
