Director - Concept Design at Seaspan

Adam Law is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in naval architecture and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Director of Concept Design at Seaspan ULC since August 2014, Adam has held various significant roles, including Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Chief Engineer for the Canadian Coast Guard's Multi-Purpose Icebreaker program, which is a long-term initiative valued at over $15 billion. Prior to this, Adam contributed as a Senior Engineer for Structures and Structural Engineer on multiple Canadian Coast Guard and BC Ferries projects. Adam's earlier experience includes positions at BAE Systems Naval Ships and the UK Ministry of Defence, where roles spanned structural and systems engineering for military systems. Adam holds a Master of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace) from the University of Nottingham and received foundational education at Dame Alice Owen's School.
