Amrit Grewal

Amrit Grewal is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in power systems and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Electronics Engineering and formerly as the Manager of Electrical Engineering at Seaspan ULC since September 2017, Grewal oversees the Joint Ship Support power system engineering program for the Department of National Defense, a significant component of a $2.75 billion Canadian defense initiative. Prior roles include Lead Site Electrical Engineer at Matrix NAC, managing electrical and controls for a $2.89 billion power generation plant, and Intermediate Electrical Engineer positions at Vista Projects and Hatch, contributing to multiple projects for major clients with budgets ranging from $5 million to $4.4 billion. Amrit Grewal holds a Master's in Engineering with a focus on power systems from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, along with a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
