Carmen Plesch

Carmen Plesch is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as Senior Project Manager for Digital Transformation at Seaspan ULC since August 2023. Prior to this role, Carmen held several leadership positions, including Senior Director of IT at The Valens Company from September 2019 to July 2023, where responsibilities included developing IT strategies and modernizing infrastructure across multiple locations in Canada. Carmen also served as Director of IT for the Asia-Pacific region at Teekay, driving digital transformation initiatives and managing a significant IT function for a large workforce. Additionally, Carmen has held roles such as Vice President and Director of Programs at the CIO Association of Canada and Director of IT at WhiteWater West Industries Ltd. with a focus on optimizing global IT operations. Previous experience includes leading applications and business intelligence teams at Teekay Corporation and working as a systems analyst at BC Children's Hospital. Education was acquired from Ted Rogers School of Business and Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania.
