Fatemeh Tavakoli

Fatemeh (Niloo) Tavakoli is an experienced engineer currently serving as Engineer II, Structural at Seaspan ULC, where responsibilities include modeling details and preparing design standards. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Student Internship at Virtual Marine, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Memorial University, where instruction covered courses related to ocean systems design and naval architecture. Fatemeh has also worked at Asia Classification Society as a Plan Approval and Technical Division Expert, conducting plan reviews and strength calculations for various vessel types, and has held positions focusing on design engineering and research and development at several maritime firms. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Ocean and Naval Architecture from Memorial University and a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology.
