Jens Joseph Rajan

Jens Joseph Rajan has a diverse work experience starting from an Internship Trainee position at Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Ltd. and Core Wire Surface Technology Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. Later, they worked as a Mechanical Sales Engineer at MAPS Machines in 2007. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Mechanical Design and FEA Engineer at Mold-Masters Limited. In 2012, Jens joined Massutera Engineering Sdn. Bhd., where they worked as a Fabrication Engineer until 2017. During this time, they led various construction projects, supervised design teams, managed construction activities, and optimized processes. Currently, Jens is working at Seaspan ULC, initially serving as a Senior Outfitting Specialist from 2018 and currently holds the role of Lead Outfitting Engineering.

Jens Joseph Rajan completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended St Antony's Public School in Anakkal, Kanjirappally, Kerala, India, from 1988 to 2002, where they pursued their Senior School education with a focus on Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Jens Joseph Rajan has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the General Codes and Standards certification from Humber College and the Engineering Connections Bridging Program from ACCES Employment. In 2017, they obtained an IELTS certification, achieving an overall band score of 8.5 and a CEFR Level C2 Mastery/Proficiency from the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2015, Jens acquired the IOSH Managing Safely certification from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH and the T-BOSIET WITH EBS & TRAVEL SAFELY BY BOAT certification from OPITO. Jens also obtained the Incident Investigation using Tripod BETA technique certification from Megamas Training Company in 2013. Further certifications include Lift Planning 1 & 2, Work Hazard Management - Champion Training, Fire Warden, Banksman Level 1, and Rigging & Slinging, all obtained in 2013. Additionally, Jens Joseph Rajan completed the Incident and Injury Free orientation programme (IIF) - Facilitator Training in 2012 from JMJ Associates. Jens also holds certifications in CATIA V5 R17 and Pro/E Wildfire 3.0, acquired in 2007 from CADD Center Training Services in Chennai, India.
