Rex Fernandez

Rex Fernandez is an experienced talent acquisition professional currently serving as the Manager of Talent Acquisition at Seaspan ULC since April 2024. Previously, Rex was the Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon from September 2019 to February 2023, where leadership of a nine-member recruiting team supported hiring across multiple levels within the Canadian stores organization. Prior roles include Manager of Recruitment Services at First Nations Health Authority and Head of Talent Acquisition at Thomson Reuters, where Rex managed large teams and developed strategic recruitment initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Calicut and an MBA in Human Resource from Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology.
