Thilak Unkili

Thilak Unkili is an Engineer 1 at Seaspan ULC since July 2025, having previously completed an Outfitting Engineer Intern role at the same company, where responsibilities included verifying firefighting equipment and reviewing technical drawings for various systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Coordinator Intern at CAP Engineering, assisting with onsite inspections and concrete testing for the Nisutlin Bay Bridge. Thilak also held leadership positions at The Engineering Society at the University of British Columbia as Vice President Communications and Sponsorship Director, managing communications and fundraising initiatives. Educational background includes studies at The University of British Columbia from 2020 to 2025 and previous attendance at the International School Manila from August 2018 to May 2020.
