Adrian Mariampillai

Vice President R&d, Enabling Technologies At Seaspine at SeaSpine

Adrian Mariampillai has extensive work experience in the medical technology industry. Adrian is currently serving as the Vice President of R&D, Enabling Technologies at SeaSpine since June 2021. Before this, they worked at 7D Surgical for almost a decade, starting in September 2012, where they held the role of Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder until May 2021. Prior to that, Adrian worked at Ryerson University as a Mitacs Elevate Post Doctoral Fellow from September 2010 to August 2012.

Adrian Mariampillai attended Queen's University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Adrian then pursued further education at Queen's University from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree, also in Physics. Following this, Adrian Mariampillai enrolled at the University of Toronto from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Biophysics.
