Eric Schlorff

Eric Schlorff is the current CEO at SeaStar Medical. Prior to their current position, Schlorff served as the Global Finance Leader for Crop Protection & Seeds at Dow AgroSciences from February 2012 to June 2016. In this role, they managed seven highly professional employees that supported global business leaders, as well as oversaw the strategic value model process for Dow AgroSciences. Eric also redesigned the monthly forecast reporting tool for Global Business Units, saving 20 plus hours per month by standardizing reports.

From June 2016 to February 2019, Schlorff served as the Global Director for Alternative Investments at The Dow Chemical Company. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development and execution of the alternative investment strategy for the company.

Prior to their role as Global Director, Schlorff served as Finance Manager at The Dow Chemical Company from June 1999 to February 2012. In this role, they were responsible for managing the financial planning and analysis for a $3 billion business unit.

Eric Schlorff has a Master of Business Administration from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Mac Murray College.
