Alejandro Schaefer has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of Materials Technology & Innovation at SEAT, S.A. since September 2007. In this role, Alejandro oversees project planning, execution, and management for various technical initiatives while also holding positions such as Head of Supplier Quality Management and Head of Quality Product Management. Prior to SEAT, Alejandro worked at VOLKE Consulting Engineers GmbH & Co. Planungs KG, where responsibilities included integrating Hydrocarbon Evaporation Emissions for BMW and serving as a Test Engineer in the Powertrain area. Earlier experience includes a role at Ford Motor Company in factory maintenance. Alejandro holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Belgrano and a specialization in Motor Development from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
