David Batlle Merino

David Batlle Merino is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Chief Engineer for CUPRA Small BEV at SEAT, S.A. since July 2012. Their roles at SEAT include Product Manager for Leon, Technical Steering in Vehicle Development, and leading the Simultaneous Engineering Team focused on chassis development. David has extensive experience in coordinating modifications, planning experiments, and providing technical assistance to department directors. Prior to SEAT, David worked as a Safety Engineer at Invensys Rail Dimetronic and as an Industrial Engineer at AZM ENGINYERS SL, contributing to various railway infrastructure projects. David holds multiple degrees in engineering, including a Master's in Automation and Robotics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, alongside further qualifications in industrial automation and materials.
