Azeem Mohammed

Azeem Mohammed has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Azeem is currently working as a Security Engineer at SeatGeek since August 2021. Prior to this role, Azeem served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland from August 2018 to May 2021, where they assisted in creating curriculum, held office hours, and graded assignments for various courses. Azeem also worked as an Intern at the university, conducting research on network security tools and exploring methods to use Android phones as malicious USB devices. Azeem gained technical internship experience at The Aerospace Corporation from May 2020 to December 2020, where they developed a Python penetration testing tool and created reporting tools using web interfaces. Additionally, they served as an Intern at the University of Maryland College Park and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where they contributed to various research projects.

Azeem Mohammed completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Maryland Diploma from Poolesville High School from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as the GIAC Cloud Penetration Tester (GCPN) from GIAC Certifications in June 2022, and the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in August 2019.
