Katya Hott

Katya Hott has extensive work experience in the field of UX research and education. Katya currently holds the position of Senior Manager, UX Research at SeatGeek. Prior to this, they worked at BrainPOP, where they held various roles including UX Research Manager and Senior User Experience Researcher. Katya has also worked at E-Line Media as a Learning Content Producer, where they conducted research and developed game design curriculum. Additionally, Katya has worked as a Game Industry Guest Teacher at Licensing Executives Society Chile and US Embassy in Santiago, as well as a Game Design Teacher at Brooklyn International High School. Katya began their career as an ELL teacher at EC New York.

Katya Hott pursued their education at various institutions, starting with the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics. Following this, they attended the International Language Institute in 2007 where they obtained a TESOL Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction. Lastly, from 2009 to 2011, they attended New York University, where they completed a Master's degree in Educational Technology.
