Kiril Angov

Kiril Angov has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kiril started their career as a Freelance PHP/MySQL Developer at Shockwave Technologies LLC, where they worked on multiple projects and contributed to the development of a leading Content Management System. Kiril then worked as a Web Developer at Sable Productions Inc, where they built and maintained online theaters and created a server infrastructure from scratch.

After that, Kiril worked as a Web Developer at Endai Worldwide, where they played a key role in the development of the company's suite of web products and introduced server virtualization to the team. Kiril also worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Compassionate, where they built websites based on client specifications using Symfony Framework and developed websites from Photoshop designs to the final product.

Kiril's experience continued at Diversity.com, where they served as a Server Administrator and provided end-to-end support for the LAMP server of the site. Kiril then joined Collectors Quest, Inc. as a Freelance Web Developer, where they converted the old website to the Symfony Framework, built the community aspect of the website, and created a Facebook application to engage a wider audience.

In 2010, Kiril joined ICEPIQUE Ltd. as a Senior Web Developer and was responsible for the day-to-day development of all web services and sites of the company. Kiril acted as the main DevOps, engineering and developing the infrastructure powering 250 requests/second to the PHP backends.

From 2011 to 2013, Kiril served as the CTO of Collectors Quest, Inc., overseeing the technology operations of the company. Kiril then joined Tumblr as a Product Engineer, where they developed products and features, and later transitioned to the role of Database Engineer, responsible for database management. Finally, at Tumblr, Kiril became an Engineering Manager, leading and managing the engineering team.

Currently, Kiril is working as a Staff Engineer at SeatGeek, where they continue to contribute their technical expertise.

Kiril Angov attended Romain Rolland from 1996 to 2001 and earned a High School Diploma with a field of study in English Language. Kiril then pursued further education at Concord University from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
