Senior Software Engineer II at SeatGeek

Liroy Alima has a strong background in software development and team leadership. Liroy started their career at IDF Mamram in 2001, where they served as a Software Development Team Lead until 2008. Liroy then worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Untitled Web Solutions from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Cal (Israel Credit Cards) as a Senior Software Development Engineer from 2010 to 2013.

Liroy then moved on to Matrix, where they took on the role of Software Development Team Lead from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they managed a team that served international banks and provided solutions for highly monitored regulatory systems.

In 2015, Liroy joined SafeCharge as a Senior Software Development Engineer and was later promoted to Software Development Team Lead. At SafeCharge, they developed .Net applications, web-sites, web-services, and web-APIs using Azure and .Net stack. Liroy also worked on architecting Microsoft cloud solutions using the latest architectural design patterns.

Most recently, Liroy has been working at SeatGeek since 2019 as a Senior Software Development Engineer.

Liroy Alima completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Open University of Israel from 2008 to 2011. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Financing and Marketing from Tel Aviv University from 2008 to 2010. Alongside their formal education, Liroy Alima has also obtained various certifications, including the AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in April 2023, the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003) from HashiCorp in April 2023, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in May 2022. Other certifications include the Incident Responder Certification from PagerDuty in January 2022 and various online courses from LinkedIn and Pluralsight.
