Samantha Berg

Samantha Berg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Samantha is currently the Head of Design & Research at SeatGeek since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Design at Chime from March 2019 to May 2023, where they led the Design & Creative teams and played a key role in hiring and scaling the team. Samantha also co-led the Chimer Resource Group for women and non-binary individuals.

Before Chime, Samantha worked as the Director of Design at LendingClub from September 2017 to March 2019, where they built and scaled the product design team. Samantha also worked as the Director of Design at FiveStars from September 2015 to September 2017, where they focused on building the design team and product development process.

Prior to that, Samantha held positions such as Associate Director of Interaction Design at Punchcut from May 2012 to August 2015, Senior Interaction Designer and Interaction Designer & User Researcher at Palm from August 2009 to April 2012, and as a Human Factors Research & Design Intern at Motorola Mobile Devices from May 2008 to August 2008.

Samantha also has experience in architecture, having worked as an Architecture Intern at John Snyder Architects in 2007 and as a Project Engineer at FIA Construction Services in 2006.

Samantha Berg completed a Certificate program in Women In Leadership at Cornell University in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, which they pursued from 2005 to 2009.
