Lyle Newkirk

Lyle Newkirk is a Partner at SeatonHill. Prior to joining SeatonHill, Lyle served as the Executive Vice President of Finance at JLL's Corrigo Subsidiary from April 2008 to September 2020. During their time at JLL, Lyle was responsible for leading financial, contractual, privacy and GDPR compliance initiatives in the company's international expansion from 2 to 100+ countries and 23 currencies. Lyle also led the transition from monthly cash burn of $600,000 to cash flow positive within six months, and created an operating blueprint for survival that secured critical capital during the recession of 2008.

In addition to their financial leadership roles, Lyle also provided cross-functional team leadership at JLL. Lyle managed cross–functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, and finalized the business continuity remote team operations process in 2019. Lyle was also responsible for leading numerous SaaS high-impact new customer contract “wins”, and streamlining the contract process and guidelines to improve tracking and transparency.

Before JLL, Lyle served as a public and private company leader. Lyle migrated reporting and controls from private company to public company SOX standards, and functioned as financial and HR lead in the sale of their previous company to JLL in 2015. This sale positioned Lyle's previous company financially and legally for a successful strategic liquidity event.

At SeatonHill, Lyle is continuing their tradition of success by setting and consistently meeting financial targets short term and multi-year, and collaborating with executive leadership to always hit revenue and EBITDA goals. Lyle has also reconfigured and enhanced HR processes and benefits reducing expenses by 15% while maintaining employee retention of 90%+, positioning SeatonHill for continued success well into the future.

Lyle Newkirk has an MBA in finance from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, a BBA in finance from University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bellbrook High School. Lyle also has certification from Udemy in Essentials of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Business and Robotic Process Automation - RPA Overview.
