Francesca Vega

Francesca Vega currently serves as the Vice President of External Affairs & Community Engagement at Seattle Children's, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Francesca held the title of Vice Chancellor for Community & Government Relations at the University of California, San Francisco, from August 2019 to February 2023. Additionally, Francesca served as a Commissioner on the Commission on the Status of Women for the City of Los Angeles from December 2018 to August 2019. Francesca's experience also includes serving as Assistant Vice President and Director of Government & Community Relations at California State University, Northridge from December 2012 to August 2019, as well as Assistant Director of State Government Relations at the University of California, Los Angeles from March 2007 to December 2012. Francesca obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Government from California State University-Sacramento between 1996 and 2001.
