George A. Woodward

George A. (Tony) Woodward serves as the Chief of Emergency Medicine and Medical Director of Transport Services at Seattle Children's Hospital since November 2003. Prior to this role, Woodward was the Medical Director of Transport Services at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 1994 to 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master’s of Business Administration from The Wharton School (1997-1999), a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, U. Pennsylvania School of Medicine (1986-1988), a Pediatric Residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children (1983-1986), and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine (1979-1983). Woodward also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College (1973-1978).
