Laura Thiel Knapp

Laura Thiel Knapp serves as the Vice President of Behavioral and Mental Health at Seattle Children's since May 2023. Prior to this role, Laura held multiple leadership positions at Providence Health & Services from June 2015 to May 2023, including Senior Director of Behavioral Health for Providence Swedish North Puget Sound and Director of Behavioral Health for the North Service Area. Earlier experience includes roles as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at University of Washington Neighborhood Clinics, Pediatric Social Worker at Harborview Medical Center, and NICU Social Worker at Waikato District Health Board. Laura earned a Master's in Social Work from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Western Washington University.
