Nabiha Huq Saifee

Nabiha Huq Saifee is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as Medical Director of the Transfusion Service and Associate Medical Director of Transfusion and Apheresis Services at Seattle Children's since July 2017. In addition, Nabiha holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, also since July 2017. Prior to these roles, Nabiha served as Associate Medical Director at Bloodworks Northwest from July 2016 to August 2020 and completed a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking. Nabiha's residency in Clinical Pathology was completed at UW Medicine from July 2013 to June 2016. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
