Rita C. Murphy

Rita C. Murphy, MA, MPH, CCRP, currently serves as the Manager of Clinical Trials Management at Seattle Children's Therapeutics, overseeing all Clinical Trials Management staff to ensure quality improvement and program growth for pediatric cancer immunotherapy research. Previously, Rita held the position of Enterprise Project Manager at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, managing clinical trial protocols for Breast Oncology. Other roles include Senior Research Associate at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Clinical Research Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Graduate Intern at Harvard University’s Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Services. Additionally, Rita's early career includes positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota and a Legal Case Manager with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Rita earned an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University, an MA in History of Medicine from the University of Minnesota, and a BA in History from Ohio University.
