James Kress

James Kress, MA, DD, currently serves as the Learning and Development Manager at Seattle Credit Union since October 2023 and is also a Staff Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living - Seattle. With extensive experience in leadership and teaching roles, Kress has worked as a Leadership Development Coach at the Co-Active Training Institute and held various managerial positions at BECU, including Program Manager for Growth and Experience and Retail Delivery Onboarding Manager. Kress's background includes over two decades in pastoral ministry, serving as a Senior Pastor and Church Planter, along with roles in retail management at companies such as Target Corporation and Nordstrom. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Theology and Religion from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Divinity from Emerson Theological Institute.
