Lazaro Carrion

Lazaro Carrion is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in project management, marketing operations, and consultancy spanning over a decade. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at Seattle Credit Union since April 2024, Lazaro previously held the position of Sr. Project Director at Cyborg Mobile, where responsibilities included training future technology leaders and enhancing organizations through a human-centered approach to technology. Prior roles at Remitly involved strategic market expansion in Latin America, contributing to a significant customer base growth and successful launches in multiple countries. Experience also includes marketing management at Mercent, technical translation at Samsung C&T, and operations management at Luxury Latin America. Lazaro's career began as a program assistant at College Success Foundation, supporting high school students' academic goals. Educationally, Lazaro holds a BA in Latin American Studies and Sociology from Whitman College.
