Sarah la-Nguyen

Sarah La-Nguyen has a strong background in talent management, with a focus on designing and implementing programs to support employee growth and development. Sarah currently works as the SVP, Head of Talent Management at Seattle Credit Union, where they oversee functions such as onboarding, talent planning, performance management, learning and development, and talent acquisition. Prior to this, Sarah held senior management roles at Nintendo and Starbucks, where they led talent management initiatives for large teams and implemented programs in areas such as onboarding, learning and development, performance management, and employee engagement. Sarah also has experience as an HR business partner at T-Mobile and as a human resources assistant at the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI). Overall, Sarah's work experience demonstrates their expertise in talent management and their ability to drive impactful strategies and programs to support organizational goals.

Sarah La-Nguyen completed their education with a Master's in Business Administration from Seattle University in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Washington between 2004 and 2007. Sarah also holds a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute (obtained in 2020), a Crucial Conversations certification from VitalSmarts (obtained in 2019), an Everything DiSC Workplace certification from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand (obtained in 2018), and a Crucial Accountability Trainer certification from VitalSmarts. Sarah is also a certified PHR from SHRM.
