Connie W. has a wealth of experience in the fields of pharmaceutics, organic chemistry, natural product chemistry, western medicine, and herbal medicine. Connie began their career in 2000 as a Medicinal Chemist for the Biopharma Business of Merck. Connie then moved on to become a Research Scientist at the University of Washington - School of Medicine. In 2004, Connie worked as a Legislative Fellow for Senator Maria Cantwell's Office. In 2005, they became a Patent Attorney for Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness and a Summer Associate for Goodwin Procter LLP. In 2006, Connie co-founded Thermopeutics LLC, where they served as Chief Technology Officer and General Counsel. From 2009 to 2014, Connie was Director, Patent Attorney for Intellectual Ventures. In 2014, they became Chief Technology and IP Officer for Benemilk Ltd. In 2015, Connie became a Venture Partner for WaterStone Capital Ltd. and in 2017, they became the CEO of Seattle Gummy Company.

Connie W. has an extensive educational background. Connie holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Washington School of Law, a Ph.D. and M.A. in Organic Chemistry from Clark University, a Master of Medicine from Peking University, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Peking University. Connie also has a Patent Bar License from the United States Patent & Trademark Office and a WA State Bar License from the Washington State Bar Association.
