Amy Nichols is a Federal Grants Manager at the Seattle Indian Health Board since August 2023. In the role of Community Advocate for Puget Sound Energy, Nichols contributes to advancing energy equity and developing community outreach initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as the Clean Transportation Grants Manager and Cultural Resources Specialist for the Washington State Department of Ecology, where Nichols significantly improved grant reporting and community engagement. A former Program Developer for the North Sound Accountable Community of Health, Nichols focused on Indigenous youth leadership and virtual community events. Earlier roles encompassed program coordination for the Communities of Color Coalition and an internship in Ethnobotany with the National Park Service. Nichols holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Yale University.
