Doug Pierson

Doug Pierson serves as a Brigadier General and Commander of the 4th Marine Logistics Group in the United States Marine Corps, overseeing the logistical management and readiness of over 8,000 Marines across multiple sites. Concurrently, Doug Pierson has held various IT leadership roles at Microsoft since 2008, including Area IT Manager and Senior Solution Manager, focusing on venture integration and post-acquisition project management. Doug Pierson is also a team member of Seattle Mountain Rescue, an accredited non-profit organization specializing in mountainous terrain searches. In previous roles at IBM Global Business Services, Doug Pierson worked as a Program Manager and Senior Management Consultant on consulting projects related to financial management and information technology. Doug Pierson holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, an MBA from William & Mary, and a Bachelor's degree in Politics & Government from Ohio Wesleyan University.
