Margaret Inouye

Margaret Inouye, a Partner at KL Gates since October 1991, specializes in Corporate and M&A transactions such as mergers, stock and asset sales, and strategic alliances. Margaret also provides advice on corporate governance, securities, and commercial negotiations. In addition to their role at KL Gates, Margaret serves as the Director of the Board of Directors at The Seattle Public Library Foundation and holds positions on the Board of Directors and Governance Committee at The 5th Avenue Theatre. Prior to their current roles, Margaret worked as an Associate at Preston Gates & Ellis and as a Law Clerk for Justice Charles Z. Smith at the Supreme Court of Washington. Margaret holds a JD from Seattle University School of Law and a BS in Biology from the University of Washington.
