Ayako Pieters

Ayako Pieters is an experienced professional in technology and language services, currently serving as Operations Lead for Information Technology at The Seattle Public Library since July 2019, after progressing from the role of Senior Administrative Specialist at the same institution from February 2013 to March 2019. Prior to this, Ayako Pieters was a Technology Specialist at the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership from April 2004 to February 2013, managing technology operations and financial aspects of the Center’s needs. Additionally, Ayako Pieters owned and operated T&T Services, where business documents and technical manuals were translated and edited between English and Japanese from October 1994 to May 2005. Ayako Pieters also served as a Japanese Specialist at Foreign Language for Youth from September 2003 to June 2004. Ayako Pieters holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics from Kyoto Notre Dame University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
